The Portal Generator is a teleportation device invented by Noriko Null after studying the Keys of Heaven and the Shadow Network of the Lar.
The traveler is first transported into a parallel dimension, typically the Null Zone, and then returned to the original dimension but in a different location.

The range of operation is enormous, allowing instantaneous travel between Earth and the Middle Galaxy, but it is not infinite as Null still needed Hermes to reach a Gamma-Ray Burst to power up the StarScourge.
