• Max Black learns he has super-powers, comparing them to those of “the old Captain Marvel”. This is a reference to the Marvel Comics character of Monica Rambeau
• Max Black instinctively turns his body into tachyons. It will later be revealed that he has a great deal of trouble using this form, explaining why he almost never uses it.
