Malakim was the first Lar host of the Nexus, recovering it from Apocalypse.

50,000 years and 12 clones later, he faced Kronos and learned about his desire to completely annihilate the Lar Empire.

LAR PHYSIOLOGY

As a Lar, Malakim was physical superior to humans. He aged far more slowly, was immune to most diseases and to high doses of radiation, and could survive months without water or food.

NEXUS POWERS

Superhuman intelligence: Malakim’s brain was billions of times faster than a human’s, giving him enhanced pattern solving, information retrieval and logical structuring.

Worldmind connection: Malakim had access to all Lar knowledge.

Notes

• Malakim’s reference to having been through 12 clones by the time he met Kronos is inconsistent with the Nexus being unable to be trasfered from clone to clone. It is possible he shared his knowledge with cloned bodies without removing the Nexus from the original one.
• Modern Lar live 8 times longer than humans; ancient Lar have been noted to having a lifespan 10 times larger than that. Malakim is the longest living Lar mentioned.
• Unlike humans, modern Lar requie sub-zero temperatures in order to survive; it is possible Lar of this era did not share this weakness.
