• Max Black gains his powers in this issue, but he won’t understand it until BTI 007
• Later issues will show that Leiko has known that the Heart Of The Universe is Drylon technology for decades, making her satisfaction in the last scene somewhat inconsistent with canon. Especially considering she is telling this to the Core, who is itself Drylon technology.
