Kylon of Megacles, mostly known simply as Kylon, is a Lar defector and ally of the Vanguard.

Biography

Kylon’s parents were banished to Megacles from Boreas by the Winter King when he was just 30 years old (a baby in Lar years). Kylon spent decades trying to create an uprising on Megacles, eventually joining the Demeter army to find allies.
After Noriko Null killed Demeter, Kylon returned to the Winter Kingdom with the intention to kill the Winter King, but he had already been killed and usurped by the Ice Queen.
With little hope to overthrow her on his own, Kylon defected to Earth and became an ally to Noriko Null.
During her wars against Apollo and Ares he became a closer ally, taking the opportunity to have Asclepius remove his Lar weakness against high temperatures.
He was later selected by Noriko Null to serve as the Minister of War of the Mortal Republic; the two has since started a romantic relationship.

 

Powers

As a Lar, Kylon is physical superior to humans. He ages about 8 times more slowly, is immune to most diseases and to high doses of radiation, and can survive months without water or food.
Unlike other Lar, Kylon is able to survive in environments above sub-zero temperatures.
