Eros (/ˈɛrɒs/ IPA, εροσ in Olympian) is the Greek God of Love, son of Ares and Aphrodite.
Biography
Not much is known about the past of Eros. He rescued Quantum after he was injured by Ares.
He has been acting as an unpredicatable ally of the Vanguard.
Powers
Immortality: Eros does not age.
Flight: Eros can lift his own body telekinetically. He usually creates a pair of energy wings, but presumably he doesn’t need them.
Invulnerability: lacking a physical body, Eros cannot be injured by physical force. When he takes physical form, presumably he can prevent his body from being harmed by placing a mental lock on his molecular structure
Godlike strength: Eros is as strong as she thinks she is.
Godlike stamina: Eros doesn’t need to eat, drink or sleep.
Universal translator: Eros can understand any language instantly. People around him will have the same ability, but it will fade over time without prolonged contact.
Shapeshifting: unlike most gods, Eros doesn’t typically use a body of his own. Instead he takes the form of the loved one of one of the people around him, or a form that can please who is talking to him. He has complete control over his form and can become any gender, any species at any age he desires.
Notes
- While there is more than one origin for Eros in Greek mythology, in Beyond The Impossible he’s the son of Ares and Aphrodite.
