God class

In addition to their pantheon of origin, gods can be classified into four separate classes.
It is possible for a god to improve its own class over the course of thousands, millions or perhaps even billions of years.
This system was designed by Athena.

Class-4 gods

The weakest class. A god will be born in this class and will slowly rise if he/she concentrates on improviing its power in a process that typically takes thousands of years.
Class-4 gods are still orders of magnitudes stronger and faster than any mortal and are still invulnerable to conventional weapons, but they can be defeated by sufficiently advanced technology.
A Class-4 might be able to single-handedly defeat an army or destroy a city, with great effort.
Known Class-4 gods: Tyche, Ilithyia

Class-3 gods

The second-weakest class, the one with the highest number of gods.
A god will naturally grow to this level over the course of hundreds of thousands of years, even if he/she doesn’t put much effort into becoming more powerful.
Class-3 gods are much more powerful than Class-4 ones. Effectively invulnerable to all kinds of weapons with the exception of incredibly advanced technology.
Several gods concentrate their powers in very specific ways; their destructive power ranges from being able to destroy a country with next to no effort, to completely devastate an entire planet with great effort.
Since there are so many gods in this category, they are sometimes divided into sub-classes.
Low tier Class-3 gods: Hebe, Dike, Eris
Middle tier Class-3 gods: Vesta, Demeter, Artemis, Hephaestus, Hermes
High tier Class-3 gods: Selene, Persephone, Enyo (originally), Amaterasu

Class-2 gods

Far more powerful than Class-3 gods and considered galactic superpowers. They typically have an astronomical level of strenght or energy projection, capable of destroying planets or stars with minimal effort.
They have enough control over their physical bodies to be considered completely indestructible to anything but other gods of the same class. They are much rarer than Class-3 gods, but the Egyptian pantheon is known to have a sizeable number of them.
Known Class-2 gods: Apollo, Ares, Hera (originally), Enyo (currently), Rhea, Serket, Sobek, Khonsu

Class-1 gods

The highest level of power achievable for a god. Beings in this class are able to affect matter in a galactic scale, and some Class-1 gods are considered able to annihilate entire galaxies.
All Class-1 gods are considered to be roughly equivalent in power and are classified based on their status.
Primordial Class-1 gods: Gaea, Nyx, Tartarus, Nut, Amun, Atum, Tiamat, Apsu, Baal
Non-Primordial Class-1 Gods: Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Isis, Ra, Inanna, Ereshkigal, Marduk, Hera (at the height of her power)
Other: Kronos is known to have achieved Class-1 status and perhaps even surpassed it when he was Emperor Of The Universe. Ares was theorized to be on the threshold of becoming a Class-1 god.
