Themiscyra is the planet of the Amazons.

Founded by one of the few daughters of Ares to survive until adulthood, the Amazons banned men from setting foot on their planet. They raided nearby planets for procreation, until Hestia was tasked with stopping them.

She recovered the model of an android built by Hephaestus and allowed them to study the technology; in time, all the mortal Amazons were replaced by advanced androids.

Themiscyra remained in isolation for thousands of years, using their advanced android brains to become the most technologically advanced race in the Olympian Galaxy, surpassing even the Lar.

When Ares attacked Hell, the captured Demons were imprisoned on Themiscyra. In a desire to transfer the planet in a different galaxy where the Amazons would be left in piece, Queen Tecmessa reached a deal with Noriko Null to aid her in the war against Apollo and Ares.
