- The entire storyline was first published in www.beyondtheimpossible.net
- This is the first time Noriko Null celebrates her birthday
- In the series proper, this is the last appearance of Jane Blake until issue 325. She has a few additional appearances in the books.
- Noriko Null’s eyes become golden in the climax of her battle against Abyss. She will be able to access this power at will after the “The Unconquered Sun” storyline.
- The original Null Tower and IRIS are lost in the Null Zone. They won’t be recovered until the “Schism” storyline.
- Torn uses his fire pentagram portal for the first time; it will gradually become one of the most frequent uses of his powers.
- While it is not mentioned among the several projects promised by Noriko Null in the final part of the storyline, this is when she begins the planning and contruction of Project Seven.
