Nine Gods

The Nine Gods, sometimes called The Nine Gods Who Rule The Universe, are the supreme authority over the Greek, Egyptian and Sumerian pantheons.
They were first encountered during the “Search for the Dragon Tomb” storyline.

History

Kronos was able to unite the Twelve Galaxy under a single government and declare himself Emperor Of The Universe.
After his death at the hands of Zeus one million years ago, the remaining gods regained control of nine of the Twelve Galaxies,

The Assembly Of The Nine Gods

The greatest power of the Nine Gods is to call for a formal Assembly, which is often done at the Throne Of The Universe. Any motion presented in front of the Assembly can be voted by the gods present; if a motion receives a simple majority, the verdict is binding for all members.
As the Nine Gods are among the most powerful beings in the entire universe, a verdict carries enormous political and strategic power.
A member can abstain from voting at an Assembly. If there is a tie, the motion does not pass.
In order to present a motion to the Assembly, the speaker must have the consent of at least one member of the Nine Gods.

Rules for membership

Members are typically Class-1 gods, but it is not a strict requirement. It is up to the Assembly to decide its membership with a simple majority vote.
